Vessel Beach House - Starboard
Wake up to breathtaking views of Resurrection Bay in this beachfront paradise on Lowell Point. This stunning property offers the perfect Alaskan retreat for your group of six. Whether you're a family, friends adventuring together, or a couple seeking a romantic getaway, the Vessel Beach House is a magical place. Cozy up and watch the weather roll in, spot sea lions or whales spouting right from bed, or soak in the sunshine to the sound of the ocean.
On the Starboard side, this two-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom property—with full kitchen, sauna, laundry, and expansive deck with panoramic views—is the perfect beachfront oasis. The master bedroom features a California king, working desk area, walk-in closet, and amazing views of Resurrection Bay. Down the hall is a full bathroom featuring a wet, walk-in shower and a second bedroom with a queen bed and a convertible daybed sleeper that can be transitioned into two twin mattresses or joined to make a king.
On the main floor, enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, living and dining area, washer/dryer, and a half bath with a sauna. The large deck invites you to watch for whales breaching in the distance or playful otters frolicking in the bay.
Lowell Point is within easy reach of all the action—hiking trails, kayaking adventures, or boat tours departing from Seward. During the day, explore the wonders right at your doorstep. Beachcomb for unique treasures, kayak through the crystal-clear waters, or go for a hike and spot eagles soaring overhead. Located beachfront and steps away from the Caines Head State Recreation Area, this newly available property is your perfect stay in Seward.
This property is on a water-catchment and septic system. We appreciate your mindfulness when using water and flushing only items that go through you and toilet paper. Due to the large windows, the property can get very warm in the sun. We do not have AC in Alaska, so we encourage you to open the windows to cool the space and enjoy the fresh air.
The Vessel Beach House is located just 2 miles outside of downtown Seward in the seaside community of Lowell Point. You will need a vehicle to get around and to the home from Seward. Taxis are typically readily available. We highly recommend a car. Seward is a 2–3 hour scenic drive from Anchorage, or you can take the Alaska Railroad to/from Seward for a scenic 4-hour journey.
Guests have access to the entire home. One parking space is available for you. The beach is public access. This home was one property at one point but has been converted into a duplex. You may hear guests on the Port side while on the deck or meet them in the driveway coming and going.
As a free resource, my husband Clay, a local boat captain, and I are here to answer questions or help you book the perfect excursion to explore Seward and the surrounding Kenai Fjords National Park. We offer discounts on many tours to our guests.
Kylee, Clay, and the Seward Vacation Stays team are excited to host you, share their favorite Alaskan adventures, and ensure you have the very best stay in Seward.
